The real x-factor in the Wii lineup is Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party. The version we played was very, very early, but the idea is that you're dancing on the same ol' dance pad -- while shaking the Wiimote. Symbols were stuck in among the arrows that meant you had to shake the Wiimote in rhythm while dancing, and... well, it was hard. I think some website or another took a video of me making a total ass of myself playing this, so look for that on the internets today.

I think this could be a big hit. It matches very well with the Wii audience and with the goals of the console in general, so it's nice to see Konami realizing this and not just sitting on their hands. From a commercial standpoint it's a good idea, but we'll see how well they can integrate Wiimote shaking into the gameplay. At best, it could be Samba De Amigo Plus DDR; at worst, another EyeToy Groove-like disaster. (I didn't like EyeToy Groove.)

　　之前就有消息表示Konami本周要公佈多款Wii作品，果然，繼昨天原創作品《滴維的冒險》後，Konami又拿出了曾經紅極一時的「DDR系列」新作：《DDR 火爆聚會》（Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party）。

　　一直以來DDR系列都是玩家用雙腳來操控，而本作把這一領域擴展到了雙臂，配合優雅舒展的上肢動作才能在《DDR HP》中取得好的成績。除了傳統的跳舞毯之外，遊戲要同時用到Remote和Nunchuk，在腳下舞步不出錯的同時，還要根據屏幕上提示揮動手柄：如果提示符號持續時間短，那麼僅需簡單揮動一下即可；而符號長時間停留，手柄也就要一直揮動下去。由於還處於開發初期，所以Demo版中的符號是用Remote或Nunchuk均能完成的，但是製作人表示以後將為左右手加入各自的動作以及一些複雜些的組合。

KONAMI公司發表人氣跳舞遊戲「《DDR》系列」的最新作《DDR：熱舞派對（Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party）》將於2007年登陸次世代主機Wii。 本作可以使用之前在NGC上發售的《DDR：with MARIO》的專用跳舞毯，在日前召開的Gamer's Day會議中，KONAMI公司在展出本作時使用的就是《DDR：with MARIO》的專用跳舞毯。在腳踩的同時本作還將對應使用Wii遙控器手柄+雙節棍手柄進行的上肢操作。本作目前尚處於開發的初期階段，詳細情報將會在今後陸續發表。
