我無玩過第一集,請問隻game係唔係好似fallout3咁玩?
有冇得較第一身視點?
ME1無得較第一身視點.


我反而無玩過fallout3, 但以我所知係相似的.

都係一個大世界任你周圍去, 好多主線&支線任務, 同一個任務有唔同完成方法, 隨你做好人或壞人等.

我鐘意ME1既地方係畫面好靚, 過場好有電影感, 全語音, 對話有好多選擇(咁都有全語音果下厲害), 世界觀好完整, 劇情出色, 玩完好似睇左本科幻小說咁.

但佢都有缺點: 支線任務變化少, 室內戰鬥來來去去都係果幾個場景; 宇宙雖大, 但可探索既地方唔多; 戰鬥系統麻麻, 我覺得係煩多過好玩. (據聞呢幾點嚮ME2都改善左)

冇得校第一身視點.

兩隻game其實係唔似的.

ME其實係日式同美式的混合體, 雖然ME係完全3D 場境, 但遊戲內有大量過場同埋per-script左的event, 仲有城鎮內的活動和找NPC對話方面就似Final fantasy 系列.

而且遊戲中的場境亦唔似Fallout 3咁, 而係你自己搭架飛船周圍去, 但飛船的飛行方式就只係在星圖上指指點點, 唔駛自己飛. 你去到各個星球後, 有d係你自己行來行去, 但有d就要駕駛一部類似車的物體去探索.

不過多支線任務同埋有d任務有唔同解法, 而且和npc對話時有不同語氣, 呢點就係一樣.

ME係好game, 值得一玩的, 尤其是個世界觀設定得好仔細.

fallout 3的場景變化其實仲少過ME

戰鬥系統來說, ME其實好過fallout 3好多.

BioWare 同 Mythic (Warhammer Online開發商)合併.
希望唔會影響到ME系列啦

Mythic and BioWare rolled into one, Mythic's Mark Jacobs departs

EA is mushing up Mythic and BioWare into one team led by BioWare's General Manager, Ray Muzyka. The new "RPG/MMO studio group" will have BioWare's Greg Zeschuk as the "group creative officer." Mythic's General Manager, Mark Jacobs, who oversaw the less-than-successful Warhammer Online, has apparently been shown the door. Rob Denton, who was the chief operating officer at Mythic, will now become general manager and report to Muzyka.

Upon contacting EA, BioWare and Mythic, we were informed that a formal announcement would be made later in the day. We'll update as we hear more.

二週目唔會繼承任何野.

取而代之係爆機後可以繼續玩, 呢個設定亦方便將來推出一d追加內容.
(例如ME1要玩個DLC任務, 就只可以load番降落最後星球前個save, 唔多方便)



No “New Game Plus” in Mass Effect 2

Sometimes called “new game plus.” in Mass Effect you had the option to restart a character, with all of his attributes, weapons and perks, at the beginning of the game, but Mass Effect 2 won’t have it.


Preston Watamaniuk (lead designer for Mass Effect) answered this question today on Bioware’s forums.

“The short answer is no.

The reason is progression. We have been working very hard to make sure we design the abilities system to offer smooth progression into ME3 from ME2. Allowing double progression on characters makes that almost impossible. We have to have reasonable knowledge about where a character could end up finishing all content on a playthrough. We also want to offer choice of character build within specific classes.

We replaced that feature with playing after you were done because it preserves progression and allows for smoother downloading of PRC.”

如果mass effect2 可以將戰鬥真係造到 gears of war 咁就神啦

BioWare announced today that it will work with publisher Dark Horse Comics to release the comic series Mass Effect: Redemption. The first edition is set to explore the galaxy on January 6, 2010.

The story is written by BioWare's Lead Writer Mac Walters, scripted by John Jackson Miller, and drawn by Omar Francia (Star Wars Legacy). The series will be released in four parts and examines the events leading up to Mass Effect 2. Walters and Francia will also be at Comic-Con to sign autographs on Friday between 4-5PM at the Dark Horse booth.

用番上集個save的話, 你所做既過百個抉擇都會被帶到第2集中.
唔剩止一D重大事件上抉擇. 小事如上集Citadel中遇到果個男fans, 你當時點對待佢, 都會影響到佢響第2集中既命運.

Mass Effect save file transfers 'hundreds' of decisions to sequel

When BioWare told us to hold on to our save files from Mass Effect for use in the highly anticipated sequel, our minds drew simple conclusions. We figured it would determine our character's appearance, for example. However, a recent PC World interview with Mass Effect 2 lead producer Casey Hudson reveals the save file's true purpose: it keeps track of your every decision during the first game, which in turn will affect the plot of the second.

Not just the big decisions, either -- Hudson says that the player made "hundreds" of choices in Mass Effect that have an impact on the sequel. For instance, Commander Shepard superfan Conrad Verner made a brief appearance in the first game. Players could respond to his fandom in a number of ways (ignoring him, threatening him, supporting him) -- however you decided to treat Conrad will ultimately affect his subplot in the second game. Us? We sent him to hostile alien territories to go snipe hunting. We're worried he'll have a bone to pick with us.

This all sounds very cool, but we're still curious whether or not our characters' stats, abilities and equipment will carry over from the first game. Screw the story elements -- we're attached to raw, unbridled power.

玩家嚮第1集升level煲番黎既技能大部份會被reset. 而且呢個係劇情一部份, 故事會解釋番Shepard發生左咩事.

Things are getting crazy with this Mass Effect 2 video game from Bioware. First, we're led to believe Shepard is dead, then he (or she) is not. Then we find out all of our decisions in the first game will affect the sequel. Now, Computerworld (via The Escapist) informs us that the Shephard we know, love, and have spent so many hours grinding won't have all of his (or her) abilities in the second game. During an interview, producer Casey Hudson said, "There's something that's happening with the story that explains what happens with your abilities. It's something we can't go into detail about for obvious reasons."

It makes sense. If you're starting off an epic quest like the one we assume takes place in Mass Effect 2, it's not good design to have the player start as a jacked, unstoppable god of a man (or woman). It's not like this is Prototype or something ...

雖然係可以周圍去, 但其實又無咩做

除左做果D重覆性頗高既side quest, 就係採礦執item.......

咁大個宇宙無咩地方好去, 其實幾可惜

最慘係主線去到某一個位之後, 就唔可以周圍去, 眼白白接左好多side quest都做唔到, 包括收錢果個DLC
