Forgotten Memories is an indie horror game that’s been in in development for over a year now. It initially started out as an iOS-only project, but is now headed to the Wii U and PS Vita as well, with a release planned for this Summer. Here’s an old work-in-progress trailer of the iPad version from a few months ago that gives you an idea of what it will feel like:
Forgotten Memories is being developed by Psychoz Interactive on the Unity engine. The game takes place in an old isolated hospital that was built in 1910 and closed down in 1979. You play as Rose Hawkins, a clever inspector trying to solve a murder and searching for a missing girl at the same time. She’ll be joined by her partner and the girl she’s been searching for.
The game described as a mix between modern and classic survival horror games. Gameplay details are scant, but Psychoz Interactive say you’ll need to rely on teamwork with your group to get through the game.

According to the developer, the PS Vita and Wii U versions of the game will arrive first, followed by the iOS version, then the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC versions. A demo will arrive on iOS next month, and “there’s some big chances” it will come to PS Vita and Wii U, as well, the developer said.
As of now, we maybe got a deal with a Japanese publisher to distribute a special boxed version on Japan (to be confirmed).
We would be interested to publish a boxed version globally and I welcome anyone interested in to contact me personally.
Do you think that release of RE can help you get more attention or you rather missed your chance to do better on Vita?
I don’t think RE Revelations will help us. Forgotten Memories is not action oriented,
it’s more exploration oriented while RE now has become pure action franchise.
