The head of CESA talks about used games, violent games, and other concerns that keep game makers up at night. By Steven L. Kent | Apr. 12, 2004 In Japan, the game industry's trade organization is the Computer Electronics Supplier's Association (CESA). Over the last few years, ESA has had to deal with a shrinking games market, a new ratings system, and even greater concerns. In fact, compared to the problems that the used game market is causing in Japan, problems that the CESA is handling such as new ratings-enforcement laws from state governments and game piracy seem almost minor.
