『スーパーモンキーボール3』がアマゾンUKで予約開始？

GameGossip.comによればアマゾンUKにて『スーパーモンキーボール3』が予約開始されているそうです。発売日は12月31日と仮に記載されています。価格は39.99ユーロが定価になっています。

現在のところ『スーパーモンキーボール3』が発売されるという正式な発表はありませんが、昨年春から何度も噂が飛び交い、今年始めにもアミューズメントヴィジョンの名越社長は「今年はサル年」と話しています。アマゾンの先走りとも、もうすぐ発表されるとも、どちらにも考えられます。

モンキーボールは猿が入ったカプセルを転がしてゴールに導くというアクション&レースゲーム。元々アーケード用ゲームでゲームキューブに移植され人気を博し、その後『2』が製作されました。『2』の発売は一昨年末で、「そろそろ」という感じもしなくもありません。

Those with a finger on the pulse of the Japanese gaming scene might be aware of the fact that comments made by Sega’s Amusement Vision team had many wondering if a Super Monkey Ball 3 was in development. This morning, in adding a bit more fuel to the fire, an all-new listing at Amazon UK has Super Monkey Ball 3 marked down for release on December 31st, 2004, for the GameCube in the region. While it’s obvious the date is simply a placeholder until something a bit more accurate comes into play, it’s certainly interesting all the same.
