The television series, based on Stephen King's novel Wizard and Glass, will serve as a prequel to The Dark Tower film.



A young Roland Deschain investigates a treacherous plot in the town of Mejis far from his home of Gilead. It is here he finds love and learns of his true destiny.

PLOT

Although Wizard and Glass is the 4th book in the series, this is about Roland before the dark tower became his ka. This is about Roland as a 14 year old boy when he had just become a gunslinger and is sent undercover to Mejis with his friends Alain and Cuthbert. It is also where he falls in love with a girl named Susan Delgado whilst trying to unravel the mystery of Mejis.

According to Stephen King, as of October 2017, the tv series will be a complete reboot and not connected to the film adaptation.
