E3 2010: Darksiders 2 Confirmed by THQ, Due 2012

Not all of the game announcements from E3 are being unveiled at large press conferences. CVG reports that a sequel to Darksiders was confirmed last night at a THQ analyst meeting. "Darksiders 2 is coming," said Core Games VP Danny Bilson. "We've green lit that. It's well into production now, it's out two years from now."

Bilson also addressed how he plans to build the brand throughout the burgeoning series' sequels. "[Darksiders] did about twice as much as Red Faction. It's done pretty well. I believe that franchise building isn't about a zillion units out of the gate, it's about building a fan base, building a community of people that dig it, listening to them, doing what you think is good. The second will be twice as big as the first one and the third one you get to big numbers. That's my strategy."

So if you want more of War and the apocalypse, you only have to wait until 2012 when the actual end of the world comes. We know it's true because we saw it in a John Cusack movie.

其實上集ending最後一個seal都爆埋，four horsemen已經出師有名，其餘三個o既殘影亦已經出現佐。

我之前o係darksiders條thread都估過，今集好大機會係online 4p co-op，每人控制一個horseman過版。

我就十分期待darksiders 2，想睇佢故事點發展落去，我覺得應該會打samael。

Darksiders 2 is scheduled to launch in June 2012, THQ's Q3 fiscal report reveals. It lists the ambitious action-adventure game for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Darksiders 2 is coming to Wii U as well, although Nintendo's platform isn't set to drop until the "year-end season."

Darksiders 2 pre-orders upgraded to 'Limited Edition,' Collector's Edition detailed

Don't be fooled by the fancy-dancy nomenclature, when THQ says "Limited Edition," what it's actually saying is "pre-order bonus." All existing and future pre-orders for Darksiders 2 will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition version, which is just the standard version and a packed in DLC voucher.

THQ's press release describes the DLC in question, "Argul's Tomb," as "the game's first single-player downloadable content pack." It also states that the Limited Edition voucher can be used "once [the DLC] becomes available," implying that it may not be released on day-one.

Furthermore, a $99 pre-order-only Collector's Edition of the game has also been announced, which includes a DLC voucher, life-sized Death Mask with stand, exclusive in-game armor and scythe set with "enhanced stats," a "digital version" of the soundtrack, and a hardcover art book. We can't wait; this is exactly what we need to finish our Casey Jones costume.

Vote on the Cover Art for the Darksiders II Collector’s Edition

The content for the Collector’s Edition of Darksiders II was revealed awhile back but it was missing one crucial piece of material: the cover art. Thankfully the black image we saw floating around with a purple stripe was just a place-holder and today we find out why.
A community vote is being held to choose the box art for the Collector’s Edition with three different pieces to choose from. The vote is being held on Facebook so hop on over there and cast your vote now! I’m kind of partial to the first and third ones myself. If you haven’t seen, check after the break to see the contents of the Collector’s Edition as well.

個人覺得最右邊O個幅最正。

我覺得配合番角色性格多D, 之前睇片interview話哩個死神唔係D有勇無謀好勇鬥狠既人, 我覺得沉默D陰森D好似配合D

而且得佢一幅有隻馬喺背景, 話晒四大Horsemen之一黎架嘛, 梗係要揀個有馬既封面

不過講咁多都無用, 行版有限量版封面先算
