Finnish developer Frozenbyte has announced that the sequel to its platform puzzle game Trine is due out next year.
Unlike the original, Trine 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Frozenbyte has said to expect it in spring.
The original game saw players take control of three characters - a thief, a knight and a wizard - each with their own special abilities that came in handy solving puzzles.
The sequel promises online and offline co-operative play and "new gameplay features and improvements", obviously.
"For example, the Wizard's levitated objects will retain their kinetic energy, so they can be hurled towards enemies, making the Wizard a lot more adept at combat, and the Thief gets a new time slow ability which will be very useful in certain puzzles," the devs explained.
Also, according to the announcement trailer, there are 500 per cent more rainbows and a greedy frog. Get stuck in.
