早前美心創辦人長女伍淑清早前在南華早報登「割席聲明」，"I absolutely have no links with Maxim's personally because I don’t work at Maxim's" 。（我不在美心任職，絕對與美心沒有連繫）然而有股壇長毛之稱的股票評論人David Webb表示"Our research shows she owns 100 shares (0.33%) of HK Caterers Ltd, which owns 50% of Maxim's Caterers Ltd. The latest year's dividends of HKC were $13k per share, so she received HK$1.3m on her shares."。
事實上美心共三萬股中，伍淑清持有100股，集團2018去年派息三億九千萬元，伍淑清淨袋130萬元股息。
