You don't play as Batman or Joker. Instead you play as a highly customizable "imposter" on Team Bats or Team Jokers. From there, you'll be adjusting your loadouts, your character, and your costume across a series of gametypes and maps.

個故仔我估係源自2010年一個漫畫故事Impostors，大約係講有班小丑黨出來搞事（小丑冇出現），跟住又有班人出來扮蝙蝠俠（雖然扮蝙蝠俠呢吓有可能係受電影有一幕影響），故事裡面一邊係癲的，另一邊都係狂的（濫用暴力），最後都係要蝙蝠俠出來捉晒兩邊的人。

Our Surprising First Look at How Gotham City Impostors Does Batman Vs. Joker


Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer first-person shooter that pits Batman acolytes against the Jokers disciples. It sounds just crazy enough to work and it looks even crazier, based on the game's first piece of artwork.

Not only do we get a look at the bold art style of Gotham City Impostors in the above image—click to Bat-size it—we also get a look at some of the game's weapons, character customization concepts and gadgets. The art style is definitely growing on me and developer Monolith Productions' output (No One Lives Forever, F.E.A.R., Condemned) is certainly confidence inspiring.

No release date on Gotham City Impostors yet, but Warner Bros. is bringing it to PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Read Kotaku's impressions of the game for more details on this online shoot 'em up.

Gotham City Impostors is launching February 7 on North American PSN and PCs everywhere, and on February 8 for Xbox Live and PSNs across the globe. If you can't play it on the first release day, don't feel too bad -- it just means those systems and regions are better at lying, cheating and ensnaring the Batman.

We should have known from its title that Gotham City Impostors couldn't be trusted to operate entirely how it promised. The Xbox Live version isn't set to launch until tomorrow, but today more than 100 DLC items are available in the Xbox Marketplace, ranging from 80 to 320 MS Points. All of the items are cosmetic and won't affect gameplay in any way, Monolith tweeted, and all of them will be unlockable in the full game.

We assume it could have been worse -- getting access to optional DLC before a game launches is better than getting access to required, paid-for DLC months after a game launches. So really Gotham City Impostors isn't such a bad guy after all ... oh. We see what you did there, Monolith.

You've been doing a great job killing those Batman and/or Joker imitators in Gotham City Impostors and Monolith wants to reward your hard work with some free DLC. Available starting today on Xbox 360, this content update adds a new level called The 25th Floor, a rooftop arena with a lovely view of the Gotham skyline.

In addition to the map, there are also some new outfits and a few new weapons: a semi-automatic pistol and a katana. Finally, a new toxic gas support item is available, which should help you injure and disorient your opponents with stinky, stinky gases.

PS3 and PC players will have to wait for the DLC, though Monolith and WB haven't revealed exactly when this content will come to those platforms.

The free update for Gotham City Impostors is out today – and, unlike the updated version of the other Batman game, it doesn't add any truly repellent box art. Instead, it adds a new "East End" map, new language options for created characters, and a "Bounty Hunter" team deathmatch mode.

In a continued effort to support the game with fresh content and improvements, Monolith Productions has delivered several game fixes, as well as a brand new "East End" map, a new "Bounty Hunter" mode, and more character voice customization. Downloadable content will also be available for purchase beginning today for Xbox 360 and will follow for PS3™ and PC.

The "East End" map can be enjoyed in all multiplayer game modes, as well as the single-player challenge mode.
