Today, developer Giant Sparrow – the studio behind the PlayStation 3-exclusive downloadable game The Unfinished Swan -- announced their new project. It’s called Edith Finch.
There’s not much else to say about the game right now other than its title. “Our last game took us a little over 3 years to make so as you can imagine we’re still in a very early phase on this new one,” the studio wrote in a blog post. “We’re pretty excited about it though and wanted to share some of that enthusiasm along with a piece of concept art,” which you can see below.

“Mostly, we just wanted to answer all the fans who have been asking us if we’re working on anything new. The answer is ‘yes,’ by the way. The working title is ‘Edith Finch’ and there’s no release date or platforms announced.”
You can pretty much guarantee, however, that this is a PlayStation exclusive. Giant Sparrow is under a three-game contract with Sony, Sony funds their operation and they use Sony Santa Monica’s office for their own office space. My guess? It’s a PlayStation 4 game.
