As opposite to the first iteration (V1-V2) this newer kits are white coloured instead of black.

This time the devkit appears to be more 「professional」 and bigger compared to the first ones.

Now this kit supports DRC (Display Remote Controller), but this feature is only for wired models. It supports the classic controller too, this time without the classic controller adapter.

Again, they don't include any optical media yet. It uses the host PC to emulate media discs.
The leds indicate when some parts are active or not (HDD, DISC,etc), Power and Sync buttons are alike than the Wii ones. We have a new button, MION. This button can reset the system to the factory defaults.
The back side didn't change at all, same Wii outputs and the HDMI output.

Finally we can see the power switch and DRC connector in the right side of the devkit.

「Wii U本体更新修復プログラム」配信開始！

任天堂は、同社のサポートページにおいて、3月5日から発生した一部のWii Uにおいてのエラーに対応する「Wii U本体更新修復プログラム」の配信を3月8日に開始したことを明らかにした。

　対象となるのは、Wii U本体で、Wiiポイント（「Wiiショッピングチャンネル」のWiiポイント）を使ってWii版「ドラゴンクエストX 目覚めし五つの種族オンライン」の利用券を購入した場合に発生していたエラーコード「105-3102」で、本体更新やニンテンドーeショップが利用できない状況となっていた。

　エラーに見舞われている本体のWii Uでは、本体更新およびニンテンドーeショップが利用できないため、この修復プログラムは、Wii Uの「Wiiメニュー」から「Wiiチャンネル」内にある「Wiiショッピングチャンネル」から「Wii U本体更新修復プログラム」をダウンロード。完了するとWiiメニューに追加される「Wii U本体更新修復プログラム」を開始することで適用される。ダウンロードには18以上の空きブロックが必要。エラー（エラーコード 105-3102）が発生しない本体ではダウンロードの必要はない。

　なお、今回、Wii U本体内のプログラム修復を行なっても、今後行なわれるWii U本体更新の配信後に、再度同じエラー（エラーコード 105-3102）が発生する可能性があるという。同じエラーが発生した場合は、再度この修復プログラムで修復することで解消されるが、4月予定の本体更新で、この現象は解消される見込み。

Amazon is the latest major retailer in the UK to drop both SKUs of the Wii U by £50. Like Shopto and Asda before it, Amazon is chopping 20 percent off the 8GB Basic Pack's launch price, placing the console at £199 ($297), while the 32GB Premium Pack with Nintendo Land bundled in is down to £249 ($372).

While sales reports haven't made great reading for Nintendo of late, likely prompting the price drops in the UK, the company enjoyed a dramatic stock bump earlier this month, put down to the weakening yen and a boom in the US jobs market
