Warner Bros. has announced that Harry Potter and pals are coming to the Xbox 360 this fall in an all-new game. Harry Potter for Kinect spans the events of the whole eight-movie series.

“Harry Potter for Kinect will engage Harry Potter fans old and new by bringing them into the wizarding world as truly active participants,” said Samantha Ryan, senior vice president of production and development at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Kids and parents will enjoy recreating their favorite Harry Potter adventures, from flying a broomstick in a Quidditch match, to battling pixies and duelling other wizards.”

Prediction: The game will have a lot more jumping and running in place than the movies.

WB conjures up Harry Potter for Kinect this fall

The last time Harry Potter used the magic of Kinect, the results were less than magical. Now, WB and developer Eurocom are bringing the world of Hogwarts to Kinect with a much more "traditional" Kinect experience; minigames. It's called, of course, Harry Potter for Kinect.

The game follows the whole Harry Potter saga, with Harry, Ron, Hermione ... and you(r face scanned onto a player-created character!) You'll cast spells with gestures and voice commands, play Quidditch, choose a house, take part in duels, battle against Voldemort, and, as seen above, even cower in the girls' bathroom.

You, Too, Can See Yourself in Hogwarts in Harry Potter for Kinect

Let's be honest: it's fun to track Harry, Hermione, and Ron's adventures through Hogwarts and the magical realm, but part of each of us always wants to be there ourselves.

Well, the new Harry Potter game for Kinect wants to put you in Hogwarts, too. Or at least a scan of your face. Which is both cool and creepy all at once.

Harry Potter for Kinect will span all seven years worth of Harry's story, putting the player in the midst of all the arm-waving, spell-casting drama from Sorting to the Battle of Hogwarts.

上次電影Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1上映的時候,
EA都有出咗隻對應KINECT的電影版GAME,
不過聽聞個操作好差,唔知今次Harry Potter for Kinect會攪成點呢?
睇片D畫面就好一般,叫做認到電影版角色咁。
當mini game玩下應該都ok的。

尋日終於開咗隻DEMO嚟試,
係無期望的情況下玩了,又覺得隻GAME幾好玩喎~!

Quidditch(魁地奇),估唔到係用打爛仔交的方式玩,可以出拳伸腳踢對手落飛攻掃把。
Gringotts Wizarding Bank(古靈閣)果個越礦飛車MINI GAME都幾刺激,
反而DEMO最後Hogwarts(霍格華茲)大橋逃走果PART就行貨D…

不過,隻GAME個操作都唔錯,幾得心應手,
過場配音應該係用返電影版演員把聲,
出咗會再留意下。
