Lego The Hobbit based on first two 'Hobbit' films, coming in 2014

The next Lego game from developer TT Games is Lego The Hobbit, and it will allow players to take the roles of all their favorite characters from the seminal fantasy novel, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today.

Lego The Hobbit will feature characters and stories from the first two entries in Peter Jackson's ongoing trilogy of films based on J.R.R. Tolkien's 1937 book, The Hobbit — 2012's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which hits theaters worldwide Dec. 13.

Lego The Hobbit will be released in 2014 on every current video game platform: Mac, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
