USB Device is missing (E:-G:)

I can't find my usb hoot device from "My Computer"

But i can see it is connected.

Can anyone help me? ths a lot

try right click "My Computer" and choose "Manage", go to the "Disk Management", right click the partition and choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths"

Already tried, nth of my devices in my usb card reader was shown...

so wried

I think you have the following problem :

if you have network drives mapped it can screw up drive mappings for usb devices
say your disk drives end at D: and you have a network drive mapped at E:
plug in a usb drive and it will assign it E:, which will conflict with your network drive
you have to change the drive letter to get it working
I see it happen to my clients all the time
not sure if this is your problem or not though.
