New James Bond Game: 007 Legends Announced

Game will conclude with the new Bond film, Skyfall.

Activision Blizzard has announced a new James Bond game: 007 Legends.

The game is being developed by Eurocom, who recently worked on GoldenEye 007: Reloaded and Disney Universe.

According to the press release, the game is attempting the rather ambitious feat of crafting an "original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies", concluding with forthcoming Skyfall, the 23rd film in the franchise.

The game promises to equip players with "state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond's signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles" and take them to various exotic locations.

Aside from the main story, the game will also feature GoldenEye Reloaded's popular Mi6 Ops Missions - extra missions that challenged players in a variety of ways, from stealth to gadget-based combat. And for the first time, you'll be able to participate as one of Bond's villains. It also boasts four-player split-screen.

007 Legends is expected to launch this autumn on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Amazon notes Kinect features for 007 Legends

According to the Amazon page for 007 Legends, the Xbox 360 version of the game will support Kinect. The online retailer goes so far as to list the game’s title as “James Bond 007 Legends Kinect”, suggesting it may even be a motion control exclusive. Nothing in the announcement suggests otherwise, so we’ve asked Activision for clarification. 007 Legends is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern autumn.

原來已經有人開咗POST。

就算XBOX 360版007 Legends支援KINECT的消息係真,
究竟可以點運用KINECT?
007 Legends我估應該同以前的系列一樣都係FPS GAME,
如果好似HALO CEA咁,個KINECT功能應該都係指聲控部份額外指令多。

A leaked Amazon listing for 007 Legends indicates that it could have Kinect support on Xbox 360.

If a leaked listing on Amazon is to be believed, then Activision's just announced James Bond game, 007 Legends, will have Kinect support when it releases this fall. The entry (which has since been removed) was snapped up by Eurogamer, and reveals not only Kinect support for the game, but also an apparent release date; October 16.

Tying together elements from six 007 movies including the upcoming Skyfall (set for an October 26th theatrical release), 007 Legends is currently being developed by Eurocom, who had previously worked on the Wii version of GoldenEye 007, as well as The World is Not Enough on N64. Assuming the listing is true, what do you think the Kinect features could mean for 007 Legends?

Wii 隻 GoldenEye 007 其實很不錯，
也是我當時唯一一隻會追下去玩的 game，
而且 online 還有不少人玩。（美版）

同意。

Wii 隻 GoldenEye 007 其實很不錯，
也是我當時唯一一隻會追下去玩的 game，
而且 online 還有不少人玩。（美版）

但呢隻其實應該只可以算係GoldenEye 007 HD版吧?
有"現代"ONLINE 對戰MODE所以加分。

所以到最後其都只係得GoldenEye 007 (N64/Wii)版果集係正game,可惜…
