The 1.04 update for Dark Souls III will be deployed on all platforms at the following time. It won’t require any maintenance downtime:

PS4 - April 18th at 16.00 CEST
Xbox One – April 18th between 14.00 and 17.00 CEST
PC (listed as 1.03.1) – April 18th at 11am CEST

The update will include the following changes:

・ Performance adjustment for “Greatsword”
・ Battle performance adjustment for “Dancer’s Enchanted Sword”, “Winged Knight Twinaxes”
・ Performance adjustment for “Soul’s Greatsword”, and “Farron Flashsword”
・ Fix for issue where multiple items become impossible to use at “Road of Sacrifices”, “Farron Keep”, “Cathedral of the Deep” after clearing the game.
・ General balance adjustments and bug fixes

For users on Xbox One, rest assured that the team is aware of the Calibrations issue and working on it.

Dark Souls 3’s next patch is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later today.

In keeping with From Software’s storytelling technique, the patch itself doesn’t give much away. Greatswords – which have become the go to weapon for strength build players – will be receiving an “adjustment,” whatever that means. That’s as well as “Battle performance” changes for Dancer’s Enchanted Swords and the Winged Knight Twinaxes.

The full list of changes are as follows:

Performance adjustment for Greatsword
Battle performance adjustment for Dancer’s Enchanted Sword, Winged Knight Twinaxes
Performance adjustment for Soul’s Greatsword, and Farron Flashsword
Fix for issue where multiple items become impossible to use at Road of Sacrifices, Farron Keep, Cathedral of the Deep after clearing the game.
General balance adjustments and bug fixes
While “bug fixes” isn’t particularly explanatory, if you’ve been cheating to dupe boss souls, your time may be near to an end.

The update notes also mention the team is aware of the “Regulations issue” on Xbox One and is working on a fix.

In case you missed it, Dark Souls 3 is off to a thunderous start in the UK, having sold 61% more copies than Dark Souls 2 in its first week.

由於正版家用機遊戲通常都較遲才在內地推出，所以現時在當地買到的遊戲往往都是從香港走私而來，而為求賺錢不少人甚至更充當水貨客鋌而走險，不過最近終於有人出事了。因為深圳羅湖海關日前就從 8 名女大學生行李內查獲 160 隻 PS4 遊戲光碟，而且全部更是近期炙手可熱的《Dark Souls 3》。



據了解在 4 月 11 日下午 5：30 至 7：30 這兩小時內，深圳羅湖海關相繼在 8 名女性的行李內各查獲 20 隻 PS4 遊戲光碟，而 8 人即合共有 160 隻遊戲。資料顯示該 8 名年輕女性當時都只是輕裝打扮，隨身只攜帶背囊或斜揹袋，而眾人被海關截獲時起初都堅稱遊戲是自用，但到最後才坦白承認是協助水貨集團進行走私活動。

與此同時，深圳羅湖海關同時亦證實這 8 位女性大多都是來自深圳一間大學的學生，而她們經同學介紹之後，其後在一位水貨客的安排下將這批 PS4 遊戲運返內地，成事將可以獲得一定的運送費作為回報。據知當中有人試過幾次成功後，甚至更介紹身邊的朋友參與相關的走私活動。目前有關案件已經轉交海關緝私部門處理，而海關表示走私水貨屬於違法行為，呼籲任何人包括學生在內不要因小小甜頭而被水貨集團利用，否則一經截獲將會得不償失。

Steamforged Games' Dark Souls board game Kickstarter reached its funding goal in just three minutes.

At the time of writing, Dark Souls - The Board Game brought in more than six times the original goal of $70,832 USD, for a total of $458,599 USD. The campaign ends on May 16, which gives the project 26 more days to smash past the stretch goals.

Dark Souls - The Board Game pledge levels

Created in partnership with Bandai Namco, Dark Souls - The Board Game is described as a "deeply immersive combat exploration game" made for one to four players. Like the Dark Souls video game, the tabletop board game will require "strategic thinking" and "clever planning" for success.

Players can run through the game in solo or co-op modes, choosing from a "number of core Dark Souls character classes."

Those who back the core game will receive a variety of character, boss, and grunt models, along with boards, cards, tokens, and dice. As the campaign continues and stretch goals are reached, add-ons will unlock. Backers are able to purchase these add-ons by increasing their pledge amounts.

The Dark Souls - The Board Game Kickstarter comes on the heels of Dark Souls III's release on April 12. Like the tabletop game, Dark Souls III sold a lot of copies—and really fast. Bandai Namco reported Dark Souls III is the publisher's fasting selling game ever.
