YEI Technology has updated the already successful Kickstarter campaign for its PrioVR motion tracking suit once more. Included in this latest update is a new stretch goal and a video to show how the technology works. The 4 minute demonstration, which gives an in-depth explanation of the sensors and a look at them in action, can be seen below.

It also confirms that the Unity Engine and Unreal Development Kit are supported with the kit, with support for Crytek’s CryEngine planned in the future. Compatibility with YEI Technology’s motion capture software is also supported out of the box, meaning PrioVR can be used for films and animation as well as videogames.
As for the second Kickstarter stretch goal, YEI Technology is planning to add another demo title to come with the kit. That title is Dodgeball, which will play just like the classic sport. The stretchgoal is set as $215,000 USD. Should it be successful, then it will join the already-confirmed Zombie Survivor and Copycat demos.
PrioVR reached its initial $75,000 goal in less than a day of going live. Backers can pick up three different versions of the suit, each of which comes with a different amount of sensors. These include the 8 sensor Lite suit, 12 sensor Core suit and 17 sensor Pro suit. VRFocus will continue to track the technology’s progress and report back on any new developments.
