The disclaimer NOT A GAME is ambiguous. The images could possibly be his own personal work, but I doubt it for the following reasons:
The images are listed with his industry work, strongly suggesting they were a part of his career.
The images list a specific format (XBLA, PSN (likely a misspelling of PNS)) - fan-art world have no reason to list a target format.
He worked for Ubisoft for seven years and now works for Eidos. There is no reason I can fathom that he'd be creating Ubisoft fanart during his new career at Eidos.
The images are located in a URL subdirectory called "Projects" alongside his other professional work - suggesting the game was a Ubisoft project at one point.
Therefore I think Assassin's Creed Duel is a Ubisoft game that never made it past early development. It was either abandoned while still in its concept stages, or developed and cancelled early before any announcement was made of its existence.
I have never played an Assassin's Creed game yet, so I'm not best placed to scrutinise the screenshots. It does seem to be a 2.5D fighter though.
The idea of playing other Ubisoft characters (Rabbids! Jade! Rayman!) is certainly quite appealing.
The Jak & Daxter Trilogy on PlayStation Vita was rated by the ESRB a few weeks ago, with a couple retailer listings popping up after that, and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two on PS Vita was confirmed by Sony in mid-March, with a couple retailers listing that one as well.
Now, Amazon France has posted their own product pages for each title, giving the Jak & Daxter Trilogya release date of June 19th and Epic Mickey 2a June 3rd date. If these turn out to be real, we’d wager a guess that North America will see Jak & Daxter on June 18th, with Epic Mickey arriving on either May 28th or June 4th.
Also, both of the games have regular prices of EUR 30,00, meaning that a cost of $29.99 in North America has a good chance of happening.
With June just two months away, expect to hear more about these games from us soon.
The board first revealed information about Resident Evil: Revelations for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We are not sure what this Legacy Collection actually contains but could it feature all the MGS games?
Here’s a screengrab of the listing:
Kojima had recently tweeted the following image, so it most definitely looks like this image is related to the aforementioned Collection and will feature all the MGS games.
Beyblade: Evolution Coming to Nintendo 3DS
Rising Star Games has today announced Beyblade: Evolution, an all-new videogame currently in development exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. Beyblade: Evolution is being published worldwide by Rising Star Games licensed by d-rights Inc. and representative Nelvana Enterprises, and is expected to spin into retail this autumn
Some days ago Fnac Spain listed Jak and Daxter Collection for PS Vita after the ESRB rated the game. Today we don’t have a ESRB rating, but we can see Rayman Legends listed again on Fnac Spain website.
Once again we can see a price: 41€ and a release date: August 29. Rayman Origins looked really impressive in PS Vita. More Rayman games for the handheld are always welcome.
Rumor: 3D Mario coming to Wii U by October
Nintendo preparing "significant global Wii U" campaign according to a CVG report.
Additionally, according to sources “close to the matter,” Nintendo is preparing a “significant global Wii U marketing campaign,” which is scheduled to kick off at E3 next month.
The publisher is expected to debut “a number” of major Wii U games from summer until the end of 2014.
No further details were provided, but Nintendo has already confirmed its new 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and new Super Smash Bros. to debut at E3.
CDON, a Nordic online webstore, had earlier listed the game only for the PS3, but another listing has popped up on the site which shows that the game may be released on the PS4.
So could Gran Turismo 6 be a cross-gen game?
The game was originally revealed by Sony’s Michael Denny and an announcement for the game is expected on May 15th.
Looking at CDON’s PS4 page, they haven’t listed any odd games for the system, so it looks like this may end up being true. Making it cross gen would be the best way to go about it as it would please fans who are clamoring for a next-gen Gran Turismo, along with people who are happy with it being a PS3 game.
Here’s the screengrab of the listing.
