The former Real Madrid man also insists he is back to full fitness following his hamstring problem earlier this season, but admits he does fear a reoccurrence of his injury.

"I am now 100 per cent fit. I am playing and I am scoring goals - I can't do any more than that. Every day I am feeling better," he continued.

"I do not have to manage the injury, now I can do whatever I need to do on the pitch.

"In the beginning you have to be quite careful and you feel scared a little bit but now I hope it stays like this."

Team news

Harry Redknapp has positive team news ahead of Sunday's match against QPR.

The manager reports that Steven Pienaar (groin), William Gallas (calf), Sandro (calf) and Ledley King (groin) could all be available to face Rangers in the 4pm kick-off at the Lane.

"William is not going to train today, but he’s trained all week and will train again tomorrow," reported Harry on Friday morning.

"He hasn’t played a game since last season and we have to see how he is. He could be involved.

"Steven is on the way back, which is good. He feels a lot better.

"Sandro has had a problem as well. He came on against Arsenal, did great for us, but his calf flared up. He’s had another scan, the scan looks okay, he feels okay and he could be available at the weekend as well.

"Ledley is improving. We’ll wait to see how he is tomorrow and you never know with Ledley, but it doesn’t look like he’s too far away."

Vedran Corluka (foot), Niko Kranjcar (thigh), Michael Dawson (Achilles) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) remain sidelined.

Moyes makes move to bring Pienaar back to Goodison

EVERTON boss David Moyes is set to make a SECOND attempt to take Steven Pienaar back to Goodison Park from Spurs.

Toffees boss Moyes tried to land the South African midfielder on loan in the summer – just six months after selling him to Tottenham for £3.2million.

That bid was rejected by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, but it is believed Everton are ready to go back for their former player when the transfer window opens in January.

Pienaar has struggled to make an impact at Spurs after leaving Goodison Park last January with just a few months left on his contract.

The 29-year-old suffered a groin injury at the start of the season and missed the first six weeks of the campaign.

But he hopes to be included in the Spurs squad to face QPR at White Hart Lane today.

Spurs sources suggest Moyes will be wasting his time in launching a second loan bid for the midfielder.

Redknapp sees no value in allowing Pienaar out on loan when he has not yet had a proper run of first-team action for Spurs.

Redknapp says Spurs not in the market for January signings

Harry Redknapp insists he is not looking to bring any new players into Tottenham in January.

Spurs have suffered a number of injury problems in defence this season and have been linked with New Year moves for the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Gary Cahill.

But, with William Gallas and Ledley King now back fit and Redknapp hoping for good news on Michael Dawson's Achilles injury soon, the Spurs boss says he is unlikely to make any signings when the transfer window reopens.

“I’m hoping that Michael Dawson comes back," Redknapp said, speaking to the Sports Breakfast. "He’s got this Achilles injury. Hopefully we will get a decision on him this week. He's going for another scan on that.
"William Gallas is coming back now as well. He did a fantastic job for us last season and, if I get them lads fit, we are OK, it's not a problem. Other than that I wouldn’t know where to bring anyone else in. We are pretty strong all over the pitch."

Redknapp has previously admitted his interest in signing Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez on loan but admits Spurs would have no chance of funding the deal.
"What a player he would be on loan but I think his wages are going to be a problem for anyone to take him," he added. "It's going to be a massive club only that can pay him £200,000 a week."

Rubin Kazan trip - Harry Redknapp

The Club can report that Harry Redknapp is due to undergo a medical procedure tomorrow morning and will therefore not travel with the squad to Russia for our Europa League fixture against Rubin Kazan.

Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan will assume First Team responsibilities in Russia in his absence.

The pair have been ruled out by injury so far in 2011-12 - Steven troubled by a groin problem, William has suffered calf strains - but both have made the trip to Russia for Matchday Four in the Europa League.

Giovani has not flown out with the squad after picking up a calf injury.

He joins Vedran Corluka (foot), Niko Kranjcar (thigh), Danny Rose (ankle), Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and Michael Dawson (Achilles) on the sidelines.

The squad is a mixture of experience and youth from the likes William and goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini to Second Year Academy trainees Jack Barthram and Kevin Stewart.

Heurelho Gomes, Seb Bassong, Jake Livermore, Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko, back in his home country, have all made the trip.
