The developer of LawBreakers and Radical Heights is “effectively no more."
Boss Key Productions, the developer of LawBreakers and Radical Heights, is “effectively no more” according to studio founder Cliff Bleszinski.
Bleszinski made the announcement in a statement on Twitter, saying Radical Heights was “a last ditch attempt” to make their own type of battle royale game after LawBreakers “failed to gain traction,” but that it was ultimately “too little too late.”
The servers for Radical Heights will not be shut down immediately, but it’s unclear how long exactly they will stay up as the statement only says “for the near future.”
Bleszinski says he is personally “going to take some time off and reflect.” He also thanked both those who supported the studio and those who worked at Boss Key.
Back in April, Boss Key stated that LawBreakers “failed to find an audience,” a game I quite enjoyed in our review last year. Radical Heights saw initially promising numbers on both Steam and Twitch but ultimately failed to hold onto that audience, and we called it “a mess of half-baked ideas” in our early access review.
