Our source indicates that the game will be a 2D multiplayer Xbox Live Arcade title, featuring six-player co-op and a versus, fighter-style survival mode.

These details follow a recently-pulled post on never know tech (http://www.neverknowtech.com/), which purported to showcase screenshots of Harmony of Despair. The site described the game as a "Metroidvania" side-scroller, featuring characters from recent Castlevania games. The characters, however, appeared to be rendered as tiny GBA/DS-esque sprites, and the game camera is apparently capable of being zoomed out to reveal entire levels (presumably in place of a map screen; or to show multiple characters in different rooms).

So it looks like we might be getting the long-awaited 2D "high-definition" Castlevania, after all. Although, "just make the GBA sprites really small on the screen" isn't exactly the technique we were hoping for.

It's been a slow roll to the finish for Things on Wheels, Load Inc.'s R/C car racer for Xbox Live Arcade. The game was announced (http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/01/30/load-inc-s-new-xbla-thing-things-on-wheels/) in early 2008 and, according to Load Inc., was completed in late January 2009. At that time, on its news feed (http://loadinc.net/), the developer made vague mention of an issue that had stalled the impending release of the title, but one "that should not change a thing in the future experience you'll have playing this fantastic game." Initially, SouthPeak (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/southpeak/) was attached to the project as its publisher. Had the deal gone kaput?

Last September, Load Inc. quietly revealed that indie French publisher Focus Home Interactive (Blood Bowl, TrackMania) was now "looking after" Things on Wheels (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/things-on-wheels). Today, Focus Home Interactive announced that the game -- finally! -- would be released on XBLA this coming Wednesday, May 12, for 800http://www.blogcdn.com/www.xbox360fanboy.com/media/2007/11/microsoftpointslogosmall.gif ($10) -- alongside Rocket Knight (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/27/rocket-knight-touches-down-may-12-on-xbla-and-steam-may-18-on-p/). (We should note, the Things on Wheels Xbox.com listing (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/t/thingsonwheelsxbla/) currently displays a "TBD" release date.)

Things on Wheels is a miniature car racing game, not unlike Load Inc.'s 2007 XBLA release, Mad Tracks (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mad-tracks). ToW supports up to four players online or off and features a variety of around-the-house and through-the-park tracks. Noticeably absent: a nagging parent ordering players to pick up when they're finished.

You may have heard by now that we're big fans of Zombie Cow (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/zombie-cow), the studio behind the point-and-click genius of Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen, Please (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/time-gentlemen-please). And by "big fans" we mean we love it so much it makes our hearts hurt a little bit. So imagine the squeals of pure childlike delight echoing from Joystiq's penthouse HQ when we saw that Zombie Cow's new game Privates (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/privates), funded by the UK's Channel 4 (http://www.channel4.com/about4/), had finally been unveiled.

Straying from the adventure gaming of the Dan and Ben games, Privates is a twin-stick shooter/platformer that -- and we're quoting here -- follows "a teeny-tiny gang of condom-hatted marines as they delve into peoples' vaginas and bottoms and blast away at all manner of oozy, shouty monsters."

What's more, Zombie Cow's Dan Marshall hints this journey into the body may even be slightly educational. You'll be able to find out for yourself when the game arrives for free on PC this summer and on the Xbox 360 at an unspecified time and price point.

Ninjabee has released the first trailer for Ancients of Ooga, which features the first gameplay we've seen of the title. The game is immediately reminiscent of J. Kenworthy Entertainment's previous XBLA outing, Cloning Clyde. This should come as no surprise, as the developer considers Ancients of Ooga to be Clyde's spiritual successor. Fans will notice the familiar logic puzzle gameplay, notably the apparent goal of freeing your fellow Ooga tribesmen. Perhaps the most intriguing new feature: vomit.

Ancients of Ooga is slated to hit XBLA later this year.

In related news, Cloning Clyde has become an Xbox Live Arcade hit and has seen a permanent price reduction. Korea’s Game Ratings Board has Crazy Taxi (http://grb.or.kr/Statistics/Popup/Pop_StatisticsDetails.aspx?app=20781&type=00) and Sonic Adventure (http://grb.or.kr/Statistics/Popup/Pop_StatisticsDetails.aspx?app=20767&type=00) in their database with Microsoft as the publisher. This could only mean one thing – those Dreamcast classics are coming to Xbox 360.

This news adds additional substance to early rumors (http://www.destructoid.com/sonic-adventure-crazy-taxi-outed-for-xbox-live-arcade-171418.phtml) and leaked screenshots (http://digiex.net/digiex/front-page-news/4127-unannounced-xbla-games-screenshots-leaked-including-crazy-taxi-quake-arena.html) of said Sega titles. Korea, even more so than Japan, misses out on Xbox Live Arcade games. So, if South Korea is getting Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure they are pretty much a lock for the rest of the world.

All that’s left is for Microsoft or Sega to properly announce them. That’s probably going to happen soon if After Burner Climax is any indicator (http://www.siliconera.com/2009/11/25/after-burner-climax-landing-on-consoles/).

It appears that Joy Ride (http://joystiq.com/tag/joy-ride) has been wiped as cleanly as possible from Xbox.com. Its game page is missing, and even the link to it from MS's E3 page (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events/e3/default.htm) has been removed. Joystiq contacted Microsoft for clarification and a spokesperson responded, "We're excited to bring BigPark's vision to life in 2010. However, we have nothing further to announce at this time." We followed up, specifically asking if "BigPark's vision" was still Joy Ride, if the game was currently in development and if it'd be shown at E3. The company has yet to respond to the request for clarification.

The latest on Joy Ride's status after it missed its 2009 (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/24/tgs-2009-joy-ride-community-can-unlock-perilous-peaks-stunt-t/) launch was that it was going to be released sometime in 2010 (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/17/joy-ride-slides-into-2010-bigpark-still-tinkering-under-the-hood/). Microsoft purchased Joy Ride developer BigPark (http://at%20e3%202009,%20microsoft%20confessed%20to%20the%20secret%20xbox%20360%20exclusive%20that%20%28then%20newly%20acquired%29%20bigpark%20would%20create:20/) last year and announced (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/01/bigparks-joy-ride-free-to-play-download-then-you-pay/) the kart racer with Avatar support at E3 2009. We'll update if Microsoft decides to let us see what's going on under the hood.

從1990年以來，SNK在NEOGEO平台上推出了許多格鬥遊戲，《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》則是將15年來NEOGEO《格鬥天王》、《侍魂》、《餓狼傳說》等格鬥作品中登場的人氣角色集合所推出的綜合作品。遊戲採用二對二的的戰鬥方式，加入新角色、新故事、再加上和伙伴的合體技「Double Assault」新系統，讓玩家實現完全屬於自己的夢幻對決。這次在LIVE Arcade推出的版本除了將畫面HD化、角色與背景重新處理、選單中文化以外，還加入了LIVE網路對戰與自訂人物配色等模式。

《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》結合了15款格鬥遊戲系列共41位角色（包含原創角色、隱藏角色以及家用版專屬的角色）。Arcade版本一開始就可以使用全部的角色，不需解鎖。

令人懷念的《月華劍士》系列角色也會參戰。

《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》的遊戲操作採用1搖桿＋5按鍵的方式，在SNK的標準四攻擊鍵配置外還多了一顆切換角色用的按鍵。《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》以《SNK VS. Capcom SvC Chaos》的遊戲系統為基礎加以改良，另外加入了和《格鬥天王》系列的衝刺與無敵迴避指令。氣量表的設計則是和《SNK VS. Capcom SvC Chaos》一樣最多可以集滿3格，再根據每個角色不同的超必殺技來決定消耗多少氣量。

《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》裡登場的雅典娜採用1986年動作遊戲《Athena》版本的造型與設計。

對戰規則方面，《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》採用雙人搭檔的設計，兩名角色各有自己的體力，角色受傷時會有一部分的傷害轉換成紅色血量，角色必須換手到場外休息才會慢慢恢復。另外，這次在LIVE Arcade上推出的《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》在規則方面也稍有變更，原本與CPU對戰時只要一名角色體力耗盡就會輸掉比賽（對戰則是要兩名角色全敗才算輸），這次則統一成兩名角色都打倒才能獲勝。

從《越南大戰》系列來的外星人Mars People原本是隱藏角色，現在直接就可以使用了。


《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》可讓玩家選擇兩種畫質（點圖可以放大比較）：

Normal畫質。

Soft畫質，鋸齒減少但相對模糊。

《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》戰鬥系統上的另外一個重點，就是可以和伙伴一起攻擊對手的合體技「Double Assault」。只要玩家一定時間沒有交換角色，氣量表會進入自動蓄力的「Auto Charge」模式，接著再過一段時間氣量表會出現「D-Assault OK！」的字樣，輸入↓↘→＋CH就可以使出Double Assault。Double Assault不但可以造成普通傷害，還會把對方體力表上的紅色區域消去，因此「Double Assault」可以說是左右戰局的重要關鍵。

「Double Assault」不限角色，只要達到條件就可以使用。

除了上面介紹的「Double Assault」以外，還有另外一個更強力，但發動條件更嚴格的「Another Double Assault」。想發動「Another Double Assault」必須將特定的兩位角色編在同一個隊伍裡面，並且達成額外的條件才能發動。

例如八神庵以及草薙京限定的Another Double Assault招式「最終決戰奧義」，發動條件為使用裏百八式･八酒杯打中敵人以後的10秒以內，並且在可以使用Double Assault的狀態下。

達成條件以後輸入（↓↘→）×2＋重拳＋換人鍵就可以使出超帥氣的「最終決戰奧義」。

霸王丸和牙神幻十郎的Another Double Assault則是要在怒爆發的狀態下，輸入↘↘＋輕拳＋換人鍵。

《NEOGEO Battle Coliseum》在遊戲模式方面除了家用版本原有的Story Mode故事模式、Survival Mode生存模式、VS Mode對戰模式以外，還加入了Xbox LIVE網路對戰模式、Character Setting人物配色編輯模式以及Gallery畫廊模式等。

人物配色編輯可以讓玩家自訂角色的顏色，連膚色都可以設定。要是塗壞的話，記得按下LB鍵來恢復預設，不要讓角色就這樣上場…

因為我上官看舊版和新版的圖,我找唔到舊版的場在新版的圖出現,特別係一d(在舊版)有角色係背景的場.
還未想到買唔買~因為見到d角色有少少浮起左(肉眼看0.5~1cm左右),
而且原來個terry係mow版,我最不喜歡的就是mow.

另再想問下依隻game爆機有無角色/系列獨立ending?

呢兩晚等睇E3試咗唔少呢堆減價GAME的DEMO。


Shadow Complex 560買咗,有齊中英內容的,玩法又正~!

Trials HD,可以一玩,但自己唔會買這類型的game。

Marvel vs Capcom 2,已有DC版都應該唔會買,加上公佈咗會有第3集都係等新一集先買。

TMNT Turtles in Time HD,單打有點單調,但400 POINT應該會買,唔知ONLINE係點搵人玩的呢?SEARCH定要INVITE FD LIST?

Splosion Man,主角外形怪誕,但玩完DEMO覺得好好玩,而且有AVATAR ITEM送,400 POINT買硬。

Alien Hominid HD,以為同Castle Crashers同廠作品一樣咁正,但試玩之後覺得只係:cwm26:版METAL SLUG。

Castle Crashers,一早正價買咗,宜家800 POINT係超值的。

Bomberman LIVE,已買PSN版,XBLA版無得OFFLINE 7人對戰。

Castlevania Symphony of the Night,畫面雖然話係HD化,但實際效果唔明顯,而且人物大頭圖有點粗糙,不過名作加上減到400 POINT會買嚟玩下。

Bionic Commando Rearmed,無玩過呢個系列,但無得跳,有得用飛索的設計幾特別,400 POINT應該會買了。

Uno Rush,有買PSN的UNO,但呢隻玩法完全唔同,節奏係快但唔好玩,如果要買都買返XBLA另一隻UNO。

Braid,好玩的,但800 MS POINT有點貴,我寧願選擇買2隻400POINT GAME…:hahaha:

Zombie Apocalypse,玩DEMO已經覺得有點無聊同悶…

Portal,幾好玩,不過幾乎無BGM,同埋把死人電腦配音好難頂,唔開字幕都唔知佢講乜。同樣800 MS POINT有點貴,我寧願選擇買2隻400POINT GAME…:hahaha:

Contra,唔係果過年代,唔係好接受到果種畫風同高難度…而且玩過PS3 LBP立體:cwm26:FANS致敬版之後,應該唔會比240 POINT買了。

N+,好玩,不過實在太簡陋,如果放係iPhone出可能更好。

今個月我已經買咗Snoopy Flying Ace、Shadow Complex 、Splosion Man呢3隻XBLA GAME,淨返240 MS POINT,

In addition to officially revealing next week's XBLA offerings, Major Nelson has also laid out Xbox Live Marketplace schedule for the rest of June, including the Deal of the Week, Games on Demand and Avatar Marketplace. The Deal of the Week -- or Deals of the Week, rather -- takes the spotlight, with several decent titles on sale. Darwinia+ will be marked down to 800 points ($10), while Defense Grid, PB Winterbottom, Rocket Riot and Poker Smash will all be marked down to 400 points ($5). Also, the OneBigGame charity project, Chime, will be reduced to a puny 240 points ($3).

之前趁XBLA減價週買了'Splosion Man呢隻GAME,
隻GAME的確好好玩,不過一進入LV3就好難玩,
過關都唔算太難,但搵齊CAKE就考功夫了。

最大問題係原來隻出了更新版之後,調整了某D機關的起動時間,某D位會變到好難玩…
我係3-4就卡關了,睇攻略片2010年前某D位可以輕鬆彈過,宜家就變得難玩了。


由於主角只能連續跳/爆炸3次,
如何recharge能量係勝利的關鍵,
好似片中咁先有用3下跳到高位,
再推LS向左貼牆滑下,在貼牆滑下期間快速把LS左右推一次(重點!)
目的係快速離開牆一下,再快速貼牆滑下,咁就會快速recharge能量了,
係未跌落地前再觸動一次,用炸彈飛去目的地,
成個過程就好似片中一樣少於5秒內要完成…

之後玩到3-7有會有同一個難題,好彩都捱過了…

由於見好少中文討論區,有討論呢隻GAME同問題所以唯有係度提下。:hahaha:
有買到呢隻GAME的,可以約埋玩佢個多人MODE。
