After suffering their third league defeat in a row, Arsenal will be desperate to get back to winning ways and cement their hold on fourth place when they visit Newcastle on Easter Monday, live on PremPlus.
Saturday's undeserved 1-0 defeat to West Ham was their first at Emirates Stadium, and even more worryingly for The Gunners it allowed Bolton to move to within two points of a UEFA Champions League place.
However, with a game in hand, Arsene Wenger's side will be looking up the table rather than down and still harbour hopes of making up a five-point gap and beating Liverpool to third place.
Newcastle defeated Sheffield United on Saturday to move into tenth and even though a European finish may be slightly unrealistic, many of Glenn Roeder's side will be playing for their futures and will be hopeful of securing a result against an Arsenal side struggling for form.
Wenger's main problems reside in attack as his side proved to be hugely wasteful on Saturday with key men Thierry Henry (stomach and groin) and Robin van Persie (metatarsal) sidelined.
Theo Walcott is also out for the rest of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, so the Frenchman must decide whether to use Freddie Ljungberg behind Emmanuel Adebayor or play Julio Baptista or Jeremie Aliadiere in an advanced role alongside the Togolese striker.
Young Brazilian midfielder Denilson will be brought back into the fold after being rested for the defeat against The Hammers, but Cesc Fabregas and Gilberto are likely to continue in central roles.
Newcastle captain Scott Parker may not line up against them though as he was forced off during the win over Sheffield United due to an ankle injury, so Turkish schemer Emre could fill in again.
French forward Antoine Sibierski was also withdrawn with a similar problem against The Blades and Roeder will assess both players on Sunday.

Jens close to decision

Jens Lehmann expects to have his future at Arsenal clarified by the end of April.
The German's current contract is winding down and the club have so far failed to persuade him to pen an extension.
Lehmann is looking for a two-year deal, but Arsenal are understood to be only offering a one-season commitment.
The 37-year-old claims he has a tough decision to make, as he does not expect Arsenal to shift from their policy of offering players over the age of 30 long-term deals.
"We will talk soon, in the next week or two," said Lehmann. "I am not frustrated, it is business.
"I have always said I would like to play at Arsenal because I think I am certainly aware the team has potential.
"I can decide to be a part [next season]. It is my decision and I have to make the decision.
"I am on a one-year contract right now, why should I really be disappointed about another year?
"It is not about one year. If I should go somewhere else, then I would go for two years, but here it is only one year.
"It is always my decision. I can stay, of course I can stay, but I have to talk before. It is a tough decision I have to make."

Arsene Wenger feels Monday's 0-0 draw with Newcastle will be good for Arsenal's confidence ahead of next weekend's crucial meeting with Bolton.
The Gunners brought an end to a dire run of results when claiming a 0-0 draw on Tyneside.
Arsenal were a long way removed from their best, but they can at least head into next week's meeting with fourth-place rivals Bolton on the back of a clean sheet.
"We wanted to win the game," Wenger told Sky Sports News. "But at the end of the day it was a game we did not want to lose.
"We tried, you could see that, the focus was there, the spirit was there and we had a good chance to finish them off, but they saved it and at the end of the day we maybe lacked a bit of creativity.
"I believe that at the moment, when you are tired, and don't score as many goals as you want the confidence goes a little.
"When you have disappointments, you need to rebuild the confidence and today a 0-0 draw is not bad for us."
Arsenal are two points ahead of Bolton and also have a game in hand and Wenger is looking for victory next week.
"We want to beat them at home and we think we are capable of doing that," he added. "We want to be in there (Champions League) and we will focus on giving everything to do it."

馬干同時也堅定地認為曼聯也有意簽下他：“他們去年和我接觸過，我知道他們仍然對我感興趣。”
自從2001年以來他為里爾隊出場超過100次。
他也參加了2004年的非洲國家杯，喀麥隆隊奪得了小組第一。

Wenger doesn't fear Trotters

Arsene Wenger has told Bolton they have little chance of finishing in fourth after their failure to beat Everton.
The Trotters visit Emirates Stadium on Saturday in a key match for determining the UEFA Champions League places, but they could have been making the trip to North London equal on points with Arsenal had they not been held to a 1-1 draw on Monday.
Wenger's team also extended their poor run of form with a 0-0 draw at Newcastle, and the Frenchman believes Bolton missed a glorious chance to stake a strong claim for fourth place on Easter Monday.
The Gunners are still two points clear with a game in hand as a result, and Wenger is positive his side will all-but seal the final Champions League spot by beating Bolton on home turf.
"I'm confident we will finish in the top four," said Wenger in The Sun.
"Bolton had a great chance to come back at us but only managed a 1-1 draw.
"So that keeps them a fair distance away and it's up to us to beat them on Saturday, which I think we will.
"I am confident, in front of our own fans it is a game we will win.
"We will find the resources because it is an important game that we have to win.
"We will prepare well for that game. For the club and the players and everyone, it's important we get back to the Champions League."

Cesc targets Bolton win

Cesc Fabregas has issued a rallying call to his Arsenal team-mates, insisting they must beat Bolton and push on and claim fourth place.
The Gunners' season went up in smoke during February and March, as they were beaten in the Carling Cup final, knocked out of the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League and lost touch with Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premiership.
Arsenal seemed on course to secure a place in next season's Champions League less than a month ago, but three losses and a draw from their four most recent games have brought them back to the pack.
Bolton are Arsenal's nearest pursuers and the two teams lock horns at Emirates Stadium at the weekend.
Spanish midfielder Fabregas is aware of the task at hand and says it is imperative Arsenal clinch a place at Europe's top table.
"We have to beat Bolton because we have to fight for the fourth place and be in Europe next season, then forget about this season," Fabregas told the London Evening Standard.
"We cannot fight for anything else, so it is our job to make it."
Fabregas claims Arsenal have not had the rub of the green in recent weeks.
"We always try to win," he added. "I have never gone into a game without my mentality of trying to win.
"We fought really hard against West Ham on Saturday and again at Newcastle, so it has been 180 really hard minutes in less than 48 hours.
"It was a good challenge for us, it is just that the goals do not come."

Davies: Pressure on Arsenal

Kevin Davies has piled the pressure on Arsenal ahead of Bolton's clash at Emirates Stadium this weekend.
Bolton have played one game more than Arsene Wenger's men but can leapfrog them in the table if they inflict a fourth defeat in five games on the misfiring Gunners.
With just a month of the Premiership season remaining Bolton would then be in pole position to claim the final UEFA Champions League spot.
Davies believes Bolton have nothing to lose on Saturday, but is confident his side can once again thwart Arsenal.
"All the pressure will be on Arsenal, because they are expected to get into the Champions League," he explained.
"But we proved in the FA Cup that we can go there and get a result and we're really looking forward to Saturday."
Davies feels Bolton have learned from past campaigns and are strong enough this season to claim a European place.
He told the Bolton Evening News: "We are in a fabulous position with five games left.
"We could be stuck somewhere in mid-table with no chance, but we've hung in there and we're in fifth spot, right behind the big four, and we're going to give it a good go.
"We've said the same in past seasons when we've been in similar positions but this time we don't just want to talk about it, we want to go and do it."
Gilberto: Bolton clash crucial

Gilberto is aware that Arsenal's clash with Bolton could be decisive in the race for fourth place.
The Gunners have struggled in recent weeks, losing three matches in a row before being held to a 0-0 draw by Newcastle on Easter Monday.
With Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott all sidelined Arsenal have scored just once in their last four matches, and Gilberto admits the lack of goals has been a problem.
"Against Newcastle we created a few good chances, but again the ball did not go into the back of the net," said the midfielder.
"It would have been nice to have got three points, but one is better than nothing.
"It was frustrating not to score again, but if you look at the way we played, the attitude of the team was great."
Arsenal will fall to fifth if they lose to Bolton on Saturday, but Gilberto is confident his side can cling on to the final UEFA Champions League spot.
"We have an important game against Bolton. It will be crucial for us," he told Arsenal TV Online.
"We just have to focus on the next game and what we can do because we have the quality to change the situation when things are not so good.
"This match against Bolton will be decisive for fourth place."
Gilberto's Brazilian compatriot Julio Baptista, meanwhile, has insisted he is still in the dark about where his future lies.
Baptista is on loan from Real Madrid for the season in exchange for Jose Antonio Reyes, and he has yet to discover whether Arsenal will keep him beyond the summer.
"I still have not got a clue," he said.
"I do not know what will happen. I may stay here at Arsenal, I do not have an answer."
